CGCA teachers are responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a Christ centered educational program for pre-K3 and pre-K4/5 for classes. Teachers help create and support a learning environment that guides and encourages students to reach their full spiritual and academic potential. Teachers are responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at their appropriate grade levels. Their duties include, but are not limited to, classroom teaching, providing assessments, and documenting the progress for students. Teachers will be responsible for classroom management by setting clear expectations of behavior and promoting self discipline. Teachers would be expected to communicate clearly with both administration and parents regarding the progress or deficiencies of their students. Teachers report to and are supervised by the school administrator and/or a supervisor designated by the administrator. Teachers have the responsibility to supervise the students assigned to them as well as students of the school. Teachers will also supervise their Teacher Aides while in their classroom

Requirements
- Mature Christian with a sense of calling to Christian education
- Member of a local church with like-minded beliefs, regular attendance required
- Agreement with the Statement of Faith and Mission Statement of CGCA
- Able to model a consistent Christian life both in their classroom and in their personal life
- The gift of teaching
